To Cruiser: There is a movie "The Case for Christ" that answers that question from a legal point of view, however there are millions of people who can testify to their invisible prayers becoming visible realities. Self-deception, I don't think so, but surety only comes at the time of our death. Faith in God has served me well in this life so whatever it is, I'm all for it.

Is believing in God an act of self-deception that people use to get through the hard times in life or is it real?

To Stoney: There are no career boundaries for the venal person. Of all mankind, I am not the judge. The Lord is my shepard I shall fear no evil.

You talk about slimy lawyers and others but don't include the crooked preachers fleecing people that can't afford it, with their prayer cloths and other junk. What have you got to say about those fast-buck jerks?

To those of you who don't know, a skywalker is another name for Christian.

To Old Hat: Sometimes a hammer shot between the eyes is the only way to stop a raging bull, but more dangerous than that is the slimy lawyers, bankers and politicians that get laws passed they can hide behind to commit their insidious acts of self interest. However, "The Book" will teach you how to out smart them all. If you will be cool the Lord has a bigger hammer than you could ever know. Being a sky walker offers a much more peaceful journey through life, don't you think? I do.

How come it is so hard for folks to figure out they can be a sky walker and still be cool? Just because I go along with the good words of the Book don't mean I can't or won't bust a jaw if necessary.

To Jacqueline: With the Holy Spirit the cause would have no effect other than strength of mind. No trigger would be pulled. How many times does it have to be said, God will avenge the sinful.

He held the gun but it was poverty, prejudice, bitterness, and despair that pulled the trigger. Who is the sinner the cause or the effect?

To Kodak: I'm not God so I can't answer for sure, but here's a thought. Perhaps God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have existed since the beginning of time. Perhaps God has been called by many different names. Perhaps the characters of the spiritual stories have also been told using different names. What I do know is that those who learn and live by the wisdom and faith in God and Christ by whatever names they are called will have, have had, and are having a better life than those that don't.Amen

I watched that movie also. Can you offer a conjecture to the multiple duplication of Saviours and spiritual stories of the different civilizations?

To Star: Those whom Christ is the Lord over their life, live a much more peaceful, stable, and fulfilling life than those who don't. Those who don't, want you to be as upset, stressed, angry, selfish, and discontented as they are. Conspiracy theorists make judgments that sound reasonable but most often their information is intangible and questionable. Following the Lord, gives me peace. How about you?

I just watched the movie Zeitgeist and it presents a lot of questions about Christianity. Now I don't know what to believe. Can you help?

To Sleepy: You probably hear from God more than you think. Every time you have to make a decision and you get two responses in your head, the right thing to do and the alternative. Well, the right thing to do is God's spirit, the alternative is gonna cost you more than your gonna want to pay, that would be your bad self. The more right things you do the more right things will happen to you. If you want to know what the right things are, you've got to read the Bible to find out. Then you'll start gettin that tingling in your head. Cool huh! If you snooze you lose. So go for it. You don't have to tell anyone if you don't want to but I'm sure you'll be thankful later.

I prayed for the Holy Spirit to enter my life but I haven't seen any changes or felt any tingling in my head or heard God talk to me like the preachers often claim. What am I doing wrong? Am I deaf to God's voice?

To Catcher: Basically, the Jewish people believe in the Torah which contains tenets against the possibility of Christ being God or having any Deity. If you will just google the question there are volumes of information about this issue. However none can explain away the life changing enlightenment that occurs when we pray for the holy spirit of Christ to enter our lives.

Why do the Jewish people not believe the deity of Christ? Were they not present when he was present on Earth? Did they not see his miracles and resurrection? Was his teachings and wisdom withheld from them?

To Susie Q: Not all people who claim to be Christians truly are. The values you enjoy are shared by many sincere Christians. Perhaps your not looking in the right places.

I like to be as pretty as I can, to catch the eye of a handsome man, to have fun, to seek new adventures in this life, to be successful and to be happy. I don't see this in the Christians I meet. Why?
