To T-Bone: The ways of the Lord are superior to even brightest minds of all mankind. I would say the Lord does always have his way. It appears to me the anti-theist fail to consider one of the primary ways of the Lord, which is the right of all people to make a choice. One can choose to live the Lords way, or not. If not, the consequences are outside of the Lords limits of grace. The Lord does allow you to make the choice.

Does God always have his way? If yes, that would imply his approval of pain and suffering, eternal damnation, and a host of other earthly maladies. If no, it would imply he is not all-powerful and more. Are the anti-theist correct?

To Kuss: Do you believe there is a God? Do you believe the Bible is true? If yes, then you can be assured that the Lord will avenge your enemies in a way far more effective than anything you could ever do yourself. Understand that people who commit evil deeds against other people are mentally ill to some degree. Lowering yourself to their level makes you no better than them. Pray that the Lord will give you the strength to forgive these mentally ill people and move on.

To Vas and Bird: It is very easy to take a single verse or phrase out of the Bible and use it out of context. You don't have to forgive anyone but the consequence may not be to your advantage.

The OT teaches; the cost of sin is death and God required something to die for sins committed against him. In the NT, Jesus was sent to die for all of mankind's sins against God. So what is the cost when man sins against man? Even in society the law requires life for life. What restitution is required when your neighbor or others sin against you? (other than hiring a carnal lawyer) I like what Bird said in his post.

To Hoot: Every evil deed begins with a single thought. Instant prayer brings instant peace. When an evil thought is first make prayer the second thought. In time peace will become your first thought.

Preachers say I'm supposed to forgive everybody that has done me wrong, but then they go on to say Jesus will forgive us our sins if we ask. Why then should I forgive anyone who doesn't ask me, Jesus doesn't. In fact he says anyone who doesn't ask will be sent to hell. I don't send anyone to hell. I figure if someone wants me to forgive them they will right whatever they did to wrong me and then ask me to forgive them. So what's your thinking on this?

How do I stop the evil thoughts of revenge that won't go away? There was a time I would revenge anyone who gave me cause but now I depend on the Lord.

To Hoot: I can not answer for any, or all, preachers about any subject. I will discuss this book with you, just let me know what part you don't understand.

How come I never hear any Preachers teach on the book - The Song of Solomon?

To Driver: The more knowledge you have of God's word the easier it will be to distinguish between divine answers and not. There are very few questions, if any, that cannot be answered with your Bible in hand and head.

To Joker: In the secular, most often the sin committed is justified by the sinner and the sin received is motivation for anger and revenge which torments. For the forgiving Christian there is no torment either way because a true Christian will right any wrong if possible. God's wisdom tells us to find the blessing in any and every thing we experience. I know this can be very hard at times.

To Clutch: Some would say the answer to that question is as infinite as the total of lives that will ever have existed on this planet. However, life is from any perspective, a resource, to perpetuate the existence of this world both physically and spiritually. The meaning of your life is culmination of your contributions to that end. Only after you leave this life can a finite answer as to the meaning or value of your personal contribution toward the perpetuation of the resource of future life be it good or bad. (a more descriptive answer will be posted on this website at a later date. This is the short answer.) God is the author of this planet of life. The personal meaning of your life is subjective to what you believe it to be, useful, useless, good or evil.

What is the meaning of life?
11-19-2010 3:49:05 AM CST
How does God communicate with people? I pray then what? Do I claim the thoughts that come to my brain as the word of God? Do I talk with other Christians or preachers and declare that as God's answer? Do I wait for some action or non-action as an answer? How do I know when God is answering my prayer?
11-19-2010 3:41:02 AM CST
Which brings more torment to you, the sins you commit against others or the sins others commit against you?
11-04-2010 1:44:26 AM CST
To Cut-Throat: You are not the originator of any spirit. The spirit of good or evil within you existed before you and will exist after you. It is your soul that should be of concern when you die. Your soul does feel pain and blessing, the choice is yours in this life for the hereafter.
11-01-2010 5:34:39 PM CST
Why should I care where my spirit goes after I'm dead? I won't know it and won't feel it, so what's the point? Please explain.

To Bertha: Wisdom comes by learning from the experience of others.
10-22-2010 3:15:30 PM CST
The books in the Bible contain stories or letters from one person to another or to a group. Am I to expect that what God, Jesus, or someone else said to that person or group also applies to me. If God tells me to go to Niniva and I don't am I going to be swallowed by a whale? Are the instructions that were given to the Corithins also intended for me? If yes, where does the Bible say that? So many preachers pull a verse out of the Bible and present it as a universal command or instruction.
10-19-2010 11:29:56 PM CST
To Rowdy: There is no degree of sin nor is there any degree of forgiveness. When you sin God will forgive you if you ask. The degree of responsibility for your sin is measured. Good works will not erase the penalty of your sin.
10-19-2010 2:13:22 AM CST
I been told all my life that sin is sin and there are no degrees of sin. If there is such a thing as right and more right then shouldn't there be wrong and more wrong? sinful and more sinful?

To Jet: The ministry of Christ has lasted over 2000 years. The Bible is the mainstay of God's word. Many other books have been written that were inspired by God, and more are still being written. Have you been to your local Bible Book Store lately?
10-13-2010 8:01:51 AM CST
If the ministry of Christ is so important why then did Jesus's ministry only last three years? If God's word is so important why then is there only one book supposedly written from him?
10-10-2010 12:36:44 AM CST
To Sugar: If you understood human nature the way God does, you would Know the answer to that question. If you understood the Bible the way God intended, you would Know the answer. The statement in your question may be incorrect? Please reconsider your wording. I do not agree that God condemned all mankind forever.
