Kwan 03-02-2011 3:16:05 AM CST What is the unforgivable sin? Is there more than one unforgivable sin?
Solo Answers 03-02-2011 1:29:07 AM CST To Elmyr: If it were not for Christ and the Bible no one would know how to love. Read your Bible. There is a chapter in the new testament that defines love very well.
Elmyr 03-01-2011 6:19:36 AM CST What is love? How do you love? My parents never showed it, taught it, shared it, or discussed it with me when I was growing up. Now I'm grown and say, "I don't know how to love".
Solo Answers 02-28-2011 2:37:54 AM CST To Tank: Pagans spend their lives pursuing the false idles of money and possessions, while dedicated Christians spend their lives pursuing the blessings of Christ and Christian values. Money and possessions do not satisfy that is why they always want more. The Holy Spirit of Christ is satisfying and brings a peace and happiness the pagans will never know.
Tank 02-26-2011 3:45:19 PM CST Why is it the Pagans get the big houses, nice cars and the pampered life and the Christians get the crumbs?
Solo Answers 02-08-2011 3:21:51 AM CST To Axle: The peace and joy is in knowing God loves you regardless of how many times you fail. There are very few "Hell Fire", "Turn or Burn" preachers left. Most want to teach you how to have a better life through the teachings of Christ. At Church you may also find a support buddy, and even a pretty girl if your looking.
Axle 02-05-2011 1:06:10 PM CST I think a lot of people quit trying to live the Christian life because they feel like such failures at it. It is very depressing to attempt to do something and know you are failing miserably at it day after day. And going to church means learning about how much more is wrong with you. Where is the peace and joy in that?
Solo Answers 01-20-2011 9:36:52 PM CST To Rox: All of the commandments and other instructions provided in the Bible are set fourth for the protection and social order of God's people. The Commandment of "Thou shall not kill/murder" was, has, and will be broken many times but not without consequence. In self defense to kill is not to murder but to preserve life. Sometimes the Lord will take the life of one to save many. The stories of the Bible help us to understand what is acceptable and unacceptable in the eyes of God.
Cool 01-20-2011 3:58:39 PM CST If people lead, leaders will follow (Gandhi)
Click 01-20-2011 12:13:03 PM CST If the Lord wants everybody to worship and follow him why then does he allow corrupt people to be placed in leadership positions such as Judges, Congressmen, even Presidents that young people should want to aspire to be like?
Rox 01-17-2011 11:13:54 PM CST The 10 commandments teach us "Thou shall not kill" but then in other chapters of the Bible Killing is described in great detail and appears to be condoned By God. I don't understand can you help?
Solo Answers 01-17-2011 11:02:59 PM CST To Hank: The Bible states that if you had the faith of a mustard seed you could move mountains. So when you meet a faith healer that has moved a mountain then I would think they are for real, provided of course, that it is God's will that the person be healed. If you ever do meet that mountain mover please, please tell me who and where, cause I want to see that.
Hank 01-14-2011 7:58:28 PM CST Are faith healers for real?
Solo Answers 12-30-2010 12:44:28 AM CST To T-Bone: The ways of the Lord are superior to even brightest minds of all mankind. I would say the Lord does always have his way. It appears to me the anti-theist fail to consider one of the primary ways of the Lord, which is the right of all people to make a choice. One can choose to live the Lords way, or not. If not, the consequences are outside of the Lords limits of grace. The Lord does allow you to make the choice.
T-Bone 12-30-2010 12:30:14 AM CST Does God always have his way? If yes, that would imply his approval of pain and suffering, eternal damnation, and a host of other earthly maladies. If no, it would imply he is not all-powerful and more. Are the anti-theist correct?
Solo Answers 12-24-2010 8:03:06 AM CST To Kuss: Do you believe there is a God? Do you believe the Bible is true? If yes, then you can be assured that the Lord will avenge your enemies in a way far more effective than anything you could ever do yourself. Understand that people who commit evil deeds against other people are mentally ill to some degree. Lowering yourself to their level makes you no better than them. Pray that the Lord will give you the strength to forgive these mentally ill people and move on.
Solo Answers 12-21-2010 12:33:37 PM CST To Vas and Bird: It is very easy to take a single verse or phrase out of the Bible and use it out of context. You don't have to forgive anyone but the consequence may not be to your advantage.
Vaz 12-19-2010 1:15:26 AM CST The OT teaches; the cost of sin is death and God required something to die for sins committed against him. In the NT, Jesus was sent to die for all of mankind's sins against God. So what is the cost when man sins against man? Even in society the law requires life for life. What restitution is required when your neighbor or others sin against you? (other than hiring a carnal lawyer) I like what Bird said in his post.
Solo Answers 12-19-2010 12:58:13 AM CST To Hoot: Every evil deed begins with a single thought. Instant prayer brings instant peace. When an evil thought is first make prayer the second thought. In time peace will become your first thought.
Bird 12-17-2010 1:49:09 AM CST Preachers say I'm supposed to forgive everybody that has done me wrong, but then they go on to say Jesus will forgive us our sins if we ask. Why then should I forgive anyone who doesn't ask me, Jesus doesn't. In fact he says anyone who doesn't ask will be sent to hell. I don't send anyone to hell. I figure if someone wants me to forgive them they will right whatever they did to wrong me and then ask me to forgive them. So what's your thinking on this?
Kuss 12-14-2010 12:26:48 AM CST How do I stop the evil thoughts of revenge that won't go away? There was a time I would revenge anyone who gave me cause but now I depend on the Lord.
Solo Answers 12-14-2010 12:15:04 AM CST To Hoot: I can not answer for any, or all, preachers about any subject. I will discuss this book with you, just let me know what part you don't understand.
Hoot 12-06-2010 11:09:32 PM CST How come I never hear any Preachers teach on the book - The Song of Solomon?
Solo Answers 11-21-2010 3:43:36 AM CST To Driver: The more knowledge you have of God's word the easier it will be to distinguish between divine answers and not. There are very few questions, if any, that cannot be answered with your Bible in hand and head.
Solo Answers 11-21-2010 3:34:10 AM CST To Joker: In the secular, most often the sin committed is justified by the sinner and the sin received is motivation for anger and revenge which torments. For the forgiving Christian there is no torment either way because a true Christian will right any wrong if possible. God's wisdom tells us to find the blessing in any and every thing we experience. I know this can be very hard at times.
