To Bonk: I know you are very capable to neutralizing any abusive aggression you see, and you should, however before you put any extra effort into it, (you know 'the final touches') consider your consequences and most important the provocation that may have preceded the abuse. There are lawyers that have no respect for protectors like you. So be careful and be anonymous if possible. God will be on your side if you do the right thing.

Is it ok to smash someone I see abusing a woman or child?

According to Bible principle and as it should be, when two people sincerely enter into a bond of marriage, both will die to self and become one entity together; just as it is when one accepts Christ into their life. The thought is no longer what is good for me but rather what is good for us. "Me" no longer exists. Marriage, like salvation, is a death to self, and self serving.

I have heard you say that a marriage is the same as a death; what do you mean by that?

To Lolita: For lack of a better way to express it, having a personal relationship with Christ is like having an imaginary friend that you talk to and do things with. The difference is with an imaginary friend there is no real response however with Christ there is. It may take time for you to recognize and identify the difference between your own thoughts and those inspired by his spirit, but when you do, that is when the blessings and the love is so appreciated and desired.

What does it mean when people say "have a personal relationship" with Christ? How can you have a personal relationship with a spirit that cannot be touched, heard, seen, or felt?

To Fernando: You don't have to respect the person but you do have to respect the position.

It is said that God picks the Leaders. Why then has he chosen such tyrannical people throughout history and then judged the society for it? So many societies have suffered horrific hardships because of their leaders; where is the grace in that equation?

To Scout: In the past, Christians were center-stage in American health, education and welfare; not so much any more. To accurately predict the future you must create it.

Once medical care is socialized in America will it go the way of public education? (mismanaged, embezzled, and politically defueled)

To Mario: It is not about how many prayers but how much faith is in the prayers that are made; nor is about how many Christians there are, but rather how many are active. Chaos is the Devil's gateway to sinful temptations.

How many Christians or how many prayers does it take to save a nation? Chatoic greed is replacing the Christian order on which this country was founded. It is a sad thought that future children will never know the freedoms our forefathers fought and died for.

To Johanna: The church experience is evolving. Attending church was once more like a referent learning experience. Today, it is more like attending a casual show. The preacher is more like an actor that tells stories, adds drama, and comedy; and the people applaud. Is it better; you decide.

Is the preacher that gets a tearful voice at some point in every sermon being manipulative or just a fraud? The first time I heard I thought the guy was really compassionate but the clockwork repetition of it at every sermon has had the opposite effect.

I tell people I am a Christian, I try to act like a Christian, I try to look like a Christian, I try to live like a Christian; only because I don't want people to look at me to close and see who I really am inside. It amazes me how people will trust and respect you when you do that. I guess God doesn't care, he hasn't struck me with a bolt of lighting, yet.

To Scar: When a preacher starts a sentence with I think or I believe, that means he is guessing but wants you to accept his thought as infallible. Not me, if the Bible doesn't tell it then only God has the answer and you'll have to ask him when/if you see him.

I have this overwhelming and consuming passion to be with the Lord but don't how. What can I do to calm my spirit? This feeling reminds me of my first love when I was so preoccupied and distracted by it I could barely think of anything else.

To Tinker: This is an area where knowing the principles taught in the Bible become important. What may be a correct action by man's perspective may be considered unwise according to a biblical principle. An example would be concerning filing a lawsuit against someone. The Bible says that's not a good idea. The lawyer will disagree. The bottom line is to know the biblical principle, determine if applies, and what is God's spirit telling you to do.

Are Christians so passive that they do not do the things that need to be done to protect their rights of freedom? Do they think the Lord will do the job for them? Will he?

To Joy: The Bible is a book of knowledge; knowledge of how to deal with the many scenarios of life, including gloom, despair, and agony. Through faith in God no matter how severe the problem, you have a strength, to keep your inter-peace and joy in the Lord. The Lord promised not to ever give you more than you can handle.
