Is it Christ that watches over us or is it God, or is it his angels that guide and protect us in this demon possessed world? Is there a difference in being an angel and having an angel spirit?

To Morah: The Bible says we should work with our hands. Life requires labor. Labor requires the use of your body and is the best form of exercise. What would this world be like if all the energy wasted in a gym was put to productive use? Be physically fit by being physically productive.

What does the Bible say about exercise, working-out, or physical fitness?

To Goshawk: To use carbon dating to time-stamp anything without a positive control duplicate item is a joke. The error rate is to high to even be considered. It is great to create "shock and awe." The book's source was from a dream, hardly a reliable source. In my opinion, there is no correlation to Biblical truths from this discovery or the book.

The discovery of the Gobekli Tepe in Sanliurfa Turkey supposedly supports the writings of the book "The Urantia Book" which predates the Old Testament of the Bible by 10,000 years. So does this discovery dis or support Biblical writings?

To Jake: According to reports capital punishment is an effective tool in reducing the murder rate, however as a Christian we must ask ourselves "What would Jesus do?" before making any decision. As for me, I believe there are some fates worse than death.

To Red: Going to church is not a requirement of salvation. It is a good place to gain knowledge and to socialize. If you will let God's light shine on him through your lifestyle, hopefully he will see the love, hope and joy that he is missing. Don't expect that your going to change him; only God can do that.

I know someone that went to church a long time ago with an open mind but had a bad experience and vowed to never go to a church again and hasn't. What can I do to perhaps change his mind?

Why do preachers yell and speak to their audiences like they are angry or have a "Hitler" type tone of voice?

To Fish: William Tyndale said it best in the year 1528 - "If God promise riches, the way thereto is poverty. Whom he loveth, him he chasteneth: whom he exalteth, he casteth, down: whom he saveth, he damneth first. He bringeth no man to heaven, except he send him to hell first."

To Boomer: It is not my place to judge. I can say I would like to live like a king if I could do it with a inter-peace that I didn't get by any means of deceit or corruption. If God bless me with prosperity I will strive to be a good steward. As for those with self-serving motives I will leave that to the Lord for I believe he will deal with them appropriately and in a more personally moving way. Ego flexing in front people with less that you is definitely not the Lord's way.

I was just reading about the African Pentecost Preacher getting a new jet and a lot more preachers would be getting them also. What do you think about Plutocrat Preachers that build mansions, drive Bentleys and live extravagant lifestyles while the majority of their followers are struggling to get by?

To Jump: It is a matter of semantics. Dying to self in Christian ease is the complete surrender of self will to the will of Christ. For most surrender only comes after self gratification is attained. To love yourself is for the quasi-Christians; for scriptures tell us to love others and to love God. If loving self means to love the holy spirit within us then that is a different thing altogether.

I have heard all my life that Christ's dying on the cross was the atonement for all mankind's sins past, present and future. Can you tell me which red letter verse in the Bible specifically states this promise?

To Keys: To know love is to ask yourself who would you die for? Christ took the bullet for us, he died on the Cross for our sins. Would you die on a cross for him?

The red letters in the Bible state "Follow my commandments" which none have ever done completely. So how can one be happy about failing throughout life? How can one be happy when failing in life? Is it possible for a deeply committed Christian to be happy about their life or even in their life with all the failure?
